The resort
The Roda Golf & Beach Resort is set within a gated complex and has 24hr surveillance & security patrols. Its 18 hole, par 72 Golf course has been designed by Dave Thomas and the Captain of golf is Sam Torrance who feels that it is one of the best he has seen in Spain! The Golf Course has been awarded the ISO 14.001 certificate, the first Golf course in the area to hold this high quality certificate and is an official PGA training camp. The resorts facilities will include by 2011 a 5* Hotel managed by de Verel, Spa, Restaurants, Commercial Centre Tennis, Shops, outdoor activities. At the Clubhouse you can enjoy tapas, meals and a drink. The exclusive Beach Club is situated on La Manga strip and at your disposal, providing a superb location to unwind & relax.

The holiday homes
2/3 bed and 2 bathroom luxury apartments and town houses are for rent on this resort. These are situated in a quiet area with views on the communal pool or gardens. All have a balcony, terrace or even a large solarium for private use. They have air-conditioning to keep you cool in the summer or warm in the winter. If you have a car there is a garage. All 2 bedroom apartments are fully equipped for 4 people maximum with stylish furniture. And the ones with 3 bedrooms are for 6. See further a detailed description of each of our apartments.

The area
This luxury first-class Golf Resort is situated between the clear waters of the Mar Menor and the nearby villages of Roda, Los Alcazares and San Javier in Murcia. The Costa Calida is the South East coast of Spain and enjoys fantastic weather all year round with over 310 days of sunshine a year. The warm shores of the unique Mar Menor offers long sandy beaches which have won the Q awards for there excellent high standards, and wide promenades. Los Alcazares offers a large range of supermarkets, bars, cafes, restaurants and shops. San Javier and Santiago de la Ribera are also lively places with another promenade to stroll and enjoy tapas, local beer or one of the excellent Spanish wines. Nearby is also the town of Lo Pagan, a visit is a must to take in the famous mud baths. On the other side of the Mar Menor and easy to see is the strip of La Manga with its beaches on both the Mar Menor side as well as the Mediterranean. At the entrance of the strip you´ll find the famous La Manga Club with its three golfcourses but also one of the most enchanting little beaches of this coast.
Still some time left or looking for some Spanish citylife? Then you have the cities of Cartagena and Murcia at hand. Both are about half an hour drive away and are full of history, shops, typical restaurants and anything else you might look for under the sun of Murcia. Of course the city of Alicante is another option just a little more than an hour drive away. More beaches? Good Mediterranean beaches can also be found at Pilar de la Horadada or even at bit further at Campoamor, still just 20 minutes away. More golf? Well we stopped counting because within half an hour drive today there may be 10 courses but tomorrow there are probably more. Access
Roda Golf & Beach Resort is just 10 minutes away from the San Javier (Murcia)airport and 1 hour from Alicante (El Altet) airport. An ever growing number of budget airlines fly daily to San Javier and Alicante. For example See also one of our link pages. At each of these airports you can hire a car, take a taxi or arrange for picking up. It is also next to the motorway AP7, which connects the city of Alicante with Cartagena, exit 786, Los Narejos – Los Alcazares North. Once you come off the road turn towards Los Alcazares and then, after some 500 meters turn right on the roundabout to Roda. After several hundreds of meters you cross the AP7 and you will see Roda Golf & Beach Resort on your right hand side.
